Below you will find the Maryland Career Clusters with specific programs that are offered by more than one school district. Many of our pathways offer college credit and/or industry recognized certifications. Each pathway link will offer a detailed look into a career that the program will prepare you for as a student. The page will offer a short informational video, salary information and job requirements. At the bottom of each pathway profile you will find pertinent information on certification and/or college credit opportunities.

Students interested in this cluster will train for careers in Economic Development roles within a variety of Core Businesses. Maryland programs include the Academy of Finance (NAF), Accounting & Finance, Marketing, Business Administrative Services and Business Management.

Consumer Services, Hospitality & Tourism (ACF,CHTMP,ProStart)

Students interested in this cluster will train for careers in: Resorts, Restaurants, Hotels, Spas, Salons, Parks and Information Centers. Maryland Programs focus on Careers in Cosmetology, Culinary Arts, Hospitality & Tourism Management Program and Food & Beverage Management.

Information Technology (Cisco,CompTIA,Oracle)

Students interested in this cluster will train for careers in: Cloud, Collaboration, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Operating Systems, Database, Network and Systems Administration. Maryland programs include Database Academy, IT Networking Academy and Computer Science: Project Lead the Way.

Environmental, Agricultural and Natural Resources (CPH)
