Health & Bioscience programs require students to apply prior science and mathematics knowledge to direct patient care, research and laboratory settings. They provide career development experiences for students who want to pursue direct opportunities in health care or continue their education towards an advanced career in the medical professions. Nursing Assistant: Academy of Health Professions

Students prepare for actual experience in a clinical setting with a focus on the specific knowledge, skills and abilities that relate to a Nursing Assist career. Clinical or Allied Health internships may be available for students to apply their knowledge. Students in the Nursing Assist career pathway will take the CNA and GNA certifications at the completion of the course.

Dental Assistant: Academy of Health Professions

Students in the Dental Assistant career pathway will take the MD General Chairside (MDG) and Radiation Health & Safetty (RHS) certifications by the completion of the course.

Biomedical Science: Project Lead The Way (PLTW)


Biomedical Science: PLTW empowers students to build knowledge and skills in biomedical science during four courses: Principles of Biomedical Science, Human Body Systems, Medical Interventions and Biomedical Innovation. Students gain in-demand, transportable skills like problem solving, critical analysis, collaboration, communication and creative thinking. Stevenson University offers transcripted college credit to students who successfully complete the program and meet specific requirements.
