The Apprenticeship Maryland Program is coordinated through a partnership between the Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) and the Maryland Department of Labor. The program is for students, ages 16 and up, and is designed to lead to sustainable employment and further education in various career cluster areas including Information Technology, Health and Biomedical Sciences, Manufacturing, Construction and Development, and Banking, Management, and Finance. The Maryland Apprenticeship Training Program provides individuals with the opportunity to Explore registered occupations. The first step in becoming a registered apprentice is deciding on your occupation of interest. You can find a complete list of occupations currently available here through Maryland’s registered apprenticeship programs. Once an occupation is identified connect with an apprenticeship navigator who will direct you to available apprenticeship opportunities.
